Older Women Embracing Life's CHECC-uP Cervical Cancer in minority women with HIV Project - Recipient of the Eighth Annual Henrietta Lacks Memorial Award 2018 Through their, CHECC-uP Cervical Cancer in minority women with HIV Project, Older Women Embracing Life works in partnership with John Hopkins School of Nursing to reduce the occurrence of, and offer early treatment for, cervical cancer among women living with HIV.
In March 2017, the 30 for 30 Campaign, CHANGE, Advocates for Youth, HIVEonline, and OWEL held a webinar examining how woman and girls across the age spectrum are affected by HIV.
