National HIV Testing Day

National HIV Testing Day — June 27, 2026

June 27 is National HIV Testing Day — a day dedicated to encouraging everyone to get tested for HIV, know their status, and take the next step toward better health.

The CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care. Knowing your status is the first step to protecting yourself and those you love.

🔴 Know Your Status. Own Your Health.

📍 Find a free or low-cost testing location near you: 👉 www.hiv.gov

Use hashtags: #HIVTestingDay #StopHIVTogether #KnowYourStatus

Ribbon–A Center of Excellence: Meeting the Moment with HIV & Aging Peer Providers

This 90-minute opening panel launches the virtual learning series on healthy aging with HIV through a thoughtful and forward-looking conversation with frontline peer advocates and service providers. Panelists will speak candidly about what they are seeing in real time, where current approaches are falling short, and what is needed to better support people aging with HIV. The discussion will explore practical strategies for strengthening community engagement, activating peer networks, fostering intergenerational connection, and navigating the emotional realities of peer-based work. With time for deeper dialogue and audience engagement, this session creates space to connect lived experience with professional insight. Together, panelists and participants will reflect on what is working, what must shift, and how to move toward a more responsive and sustainable approach to HIV and aging services and advocacy.
